Hi, it’s nice to meet you!
I'm Justine Wright, a Licensed Therapist serving clients in California & Oregon out of my Oakdale, CA office.
As a person-centered therapist, I believe meaningful healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. Every client who walks through my door is met with compassion and honesty as we explore what true healing and growth means specifically for them.
Therapy shouldn’t feel like a one-size-fits all approach you just get handed off the rack. It should feel like a hand-knit sweater made especially for you, and no one else.
What I help with
I specialize in supporting adults who are in the midst of life changes and transitions.
Life Transitions & Changes
Parenthood
Postpartum Depression
Anxiety & Depression
Low Self-Esteem
Burnout & Overwhelm
I think of life’s challenges as a brick wall.
When you're standing right next to it, all you see is one enormous wall that’s impossible to climb over.
I help my clients take ten steps back to see that there is an end to the wall, and a path around it.
And together, we walk the path around it.

FAQs
Here’s some of the questions I get from clients.
-
It looks different for everyone. I show up where you need me. We usually start with one question: what's at the forefront of your mind, the one thing you can't get past?
I'm a solution-focused, person-centered therapist, which means I'm with you, human to human.
I like to think of a problem as a brick wall. When you're standing right up against it, all you can see is one massive brick and it feels enormous. Part of our work is taking ten steps back so you can see the edges and the way around it.
-
I usually book new clients about one to two weeks out after their initial phone consultation, depending on my current availability.
It can take a little longer to get started around the holidays.
-
The contact form is the best way to reach me, and I'll get back to you within one to two business days.
If you'd rather call or text, that works too.
From there, we'll set up a 15-minute phone consultation to make sure we are a good fit for each other. If I don’t think I am the right person to support your needs and goals, I will tell you honestly.
-
The answer to this question is different for everyone.
Most of my clients start to see a difference after about the eight-week mark. I'll ask how big that brick wall looks now. Most people tell me it's smaller, and they can start to see a way around it.
-
I'll tell you. This is part of the reason all new clients get a 15-minute phone consultation, to make sure we are a good fit before you commit to anything.
Sometimes it becomes clear after a few sessions that someone would be better served elsewhere, and I'll be honest with you about that so you can get the support you need. Even if it’s not from me.

Every person is different, but here's what I typically see. Clients in a hard season usually start weekly. Around four to six months in, many move to every other week, and a few months after that, to monthly. Most people reach a maintenance phase somewhere around nine to twelve months. But again, this looks different for everyone.

Yes. Spanish was my first language and I'm fluent. Some clients prefer a mix of English and Spanish, and we can figure out together what works best for you.
