These terms apply to your use of justwrighttherapy.net, operated by Justine Wright, LMFT, doing business as Just Wright Therapy ("Just Wright Therapy," "I," "me," or "my"). By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

This website is not therapy

Everything on this site, including articles, descriptions, and FAQs, is general information. It is not therapy, diagnosis, or professional advice for your specific situation, and it isn't a substitute for working with a licensed professional.

Visiting this site, filling out the contact form, emailing, or calling does not create a therapist-client relationship. That relationship begins only after we've talked, agreed to work together, and you've completed my intake and informed consent paperwork.

Not for emergencies

This website and my inbox are not monitored for emergencies, and I may not see a message right away. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Who I can work with

I'm licensed to provide therapy to people who are physically located in California or Oregon at the time of each session, whether in person or online. Licensing laws are based on where you are during a session, not where you live. If you'll be outside those states, please let me know ahead of time.

Communicating with me

Email, text messages, and website forms are not fully secure. Please keep messages to scheduling and basic questions, and save personal or clinical details for our sessions or my secure client portal. By reaching out, you agree that I may reply using the contact method you provide.

Scheduling, fees, and policies

Scheduling, intake paperwork, payment, and online sessions are handled through secure third-party platforms. Fees, cancellation policies, insurance details, and the terms of our work together are set out in the informed consent documents you'll receive before your first session. Those documents control over anything on this website.

I try to keep the information on this site, including fees and insurance details, accurate and current, but it may change without notice.

Using the content on this site

The writing, design, logo, images, and other content on this site belong to me or are used with permission. You're welcome to read, print, or share pages for personal, non-commercial use, as long as you credit Just Wright Therapy and don't change the content. Please don't copy, republish, or sell it without my written permission.

Using the site respectfully

Please don't use this site to send spam, harmful code, or unlawful or abusive content, or try to interfere with how the site works.

Links to other websites

This site may link to other websites and resources I think are helpful. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for their content or privacy practices. A link isn't an endorsement of everything on that site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Stanislaus County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.

I may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
